Thank you to everyone who came out to Local 269 to support our gig / fundraiser for Bat Conservation International. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to raise $4.60 to help the plight of the bat. I'm not sure that's enough to even get a band aid for a bleeding bat-wing, but that's not the point. The point is that we DID something.

Thus, we have been inspired to try again.

On Friday, July 16th at 8pm at ARLENE'S GROCERY (95 Stanton St. btw. Orchard & Ludlow -- $10), The Hillary Step will hold another fundraiser rock 'n roll extravaganza! This time, we will be raising money for Montana Slappers, located in lovely Missoula, MT. I think we have all felt the economic pinch in these past few years. I know that I, for one, cannot afford to slap just anyone anymore. I have to be very specific about who I slap these days -- and out West, the situation is even worse. So come on out to our show on July 16th at 8pm and help bring back economically-unburdened slapping to the people of Montana. Again, 20% of proceeds will go directly to this charity.

Come get slap-happy at Arlene's Grocery on Friday, July 16th with The Hillary Step... you know, that band you keep meaning to come check out!! If you donate $10 or more, you get a free kiss on the cheek (or slap if you prefer) from any Stepper!
